Hi Everyone!

Our heartfelt concern and caring is for something quite amazing, if geographically a little distant for many of us:

Our young foundation wants to bring people together from all over the world in an effort to help:

  • The precious preservation of the original cultures of the pristine Himalayan area with their own wisdom (both about the outer and inner aspects of human life). This knowledge has been passed on from generation to generation – and so is still available and alive today.
  • Offer multi-dimensional 21st century education to the young in ways that neither of the two ways of schooling suffocates the other (Western science oriented and Himalayan science of the mind and the inner). 
  • Many a youth should gain, with our support, the capabilities to later contribute to the wider world with what they will have quite uniquely been able to combine: the positive serenity of their minds, modern Western education and the magnificent ways of their traditional cultures and specific, geographical regions. 

Unquestionably, this would be a great benefit to our current chaotic and often quite toxic world. If on the other hand this didn’t happen, it would be a great loss for our and future generations dealing with a world in great trouble.

Often called the “roof” of the world, the lower and higher Himalayas have, for more than 3,000 years, harbored bodies of human wisdom and knowledge that are still alive and can now serve humanity extremely well. Their intriguing originality can powerfully show the way to solving many of today’s dangerously “hot” global issues. And certainly solve many of the problems young people as well as many adults are facing today in our current, unbalanced global society.

Our dream is to make this a solid reality: 

Young people growing up in the Himalayan region with its magnificent innocence and positive cultural heritage will have every chance to benefit from modern, more science-related education that includes decent English language training. At the same time they stay in touch with their precious heritage and its own education. This will enable the world to benefit from such well- and dually-educated Himalayan youth able to share the incorporated larger perspectives of the Himalayas’ great serenity, wisdom and ethics. 
 
Later we also want to move beyond the Himalayas – and have HFF’s activities give support in other magnificent areas of the world with their own precious traditions and cultures.

How to support us

If you come to like our ideas, projects, activities and vibe – as soon as our projects will start having hands and feet, you will be ever so welcome to join in for 2 to many more weeks, to (yes, delve/soak fill your lungs with pure Himalayan air), but also to learn from that ancient, and in some ways so tremendously successful culture and philosophy. And see for yourselves, whether there would be any elements you may want to experiment with in your private life as well once back in your (e.g. Western) surroundings.

Future Developments

While not being hugely extensive, this website shows our ideas, intents and matters close to our hearts. There is a page explaining how to donate to us, for kind souls wishing to do so already.

Regarding future developments, we plan on, e.g. adding pictures that better represent our goal of building schools (children / school photos). Making payment methods (like Paypal or credit/debit cards) available at no or low cost to donors would also be a great addition that we are exploring at this time.
